Does Image Studio upload my files?
No. All processing — conversion, resize, crop, rotate, filters, watermark — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your files never touch any server.
What image formats can I convert to?
Image Studio converts PNG and JPG/JPEG images to WebP format. More output formats (PNG, JPEG, AVIF) are coming in future updates.
How many images can I process at once?
There is no enforced limit. You can drop hundreds of images at once. The practical limit is your browser's available RAM, which is typically enough for hundreds of images.
Can I apply multiple operations at once?
Yes. All settings across all tabs are applied simultaneously during conversion — so you can convert to WebP, resize, rotate, crop, add a watermark and apply a filter all in one pass.
What does the Crop feature do?
Crop removes pixels from the edges of each image to match the selected aspect ratio, centred on the original image. Great for creating consistent thumbnails or social media images.
Can I watermark images with a logo?
Currently Image Studio supports text watermarks. Image/logo watermark support is planned for a future update.
